UPCOMING EVENTS - 4th Saturday Garden & Gather
A monthly morning to care, connect, and enjoy the beauty of the cemeteryGarden & Gather is a welcoming monthly event at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery & Prayer Gardens. Families are invited to come tend their loved ones’ spaces, enjoy the gardens and natural areas, and spend a peaceful morning in community.
Garden & Gather is held on the 4th Saturday of each month from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery & Prayer Gardens, located at 330 Berry Lane, Georgetown, TX 78626. Families may come for a short visit or stay for the whole morning. No RSVP is required.
What is Garden & Gather?Garden & Gather is a monthly, come-and-go morning for families and visitors to enjoy the cemetery grounds together.
Each month, families are welcome to:
- Tend loved ones’ resting spaces within cemetery guidelines
- Ask questions about planting, decorating, and cemetery care
- Walk the gardens, pond, forested areas, and prayer spaces
- Meet other families in a gentle, welcoming setting
- Join an optional seasonal activity, tour, or learning session
Our caregiver team and cemetery staff are available during the morning to offer guidance, answer questions, and lend a helping hand when possible. Some months may also include volunteer Master Gardeners or special guests.

RSVP:
No RSVP required. Come for 20 minutes or stay the whole morning.
What to bringYou are welcome to bring:
- Gloves
- Small hand tools
- A rake or trowel
- A small bucket or bag for debris
- Sun protection
- Comfortable shoes for walking the grounds
We provide limited tools to borrow, caregiver guidance, bags for community projects when offered, and water or light refreshments.
Monthly features and seasonal activitiesEach Garden & Gather morning may look a little different. Some months focus simply on helping families care for their spaces. Other months include an optional community activity, seasonal project, or learning opportunity.

- Green burial information sessions
- Lawn games by the pond
- Trail-edge tidy projects
- Garden bed refreshes
- Rose pop-up sales in the fall
Families are always welcome to attend for all or part of the morning, whether or not they participate in the featured activity.
Caring for loved ones’ spacesGarden & Gather is a good time to tend a loved one’s resting place with care and intention. Families may refresh flowers, pull weeds by hand, tidy around a marker or monument, and ask questions about what plantings or decorations are permitted.To help keep the cemetery natural, beautiful, and safe for everyone, please follow Our Lady’s space decorating and gardening guidelines. Guidelines are available from the cemetery office.

It is a place of prayer, memory, beauty, and community.Garden & Gather gives families a simple way to return to the cemetery, care for sacred spaces, and experience the grounds through the seasons. Whether you are grieving a recent loss, remembering someone buried here years ago, planning ahead, or simply wishing to walk the gardens, you are welcome.
