Nick and Ellen Brumder are the founders of Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery, since its inception in 2002. While spending summers in Austria for many years, they enjoyed visiting the Austrian cemeteries, which are beautiful and an important part of the culture and life of the people. The Brumders vision was to revive the cemetery in America as a place of artistic merit, reverence, and natural beauty. It has been their passion to create the most inspirational, consoling and hope filled cemetery possible, and Nick's talents as an artist and designer have been applied to that vision. Nick and son, Nick, created the Resurrection Cross, the central feature and theme of the cemetery, as well as the unique, forged temporary crosses gracing the new graves. Nick also designs the monuments, working with the families to create a memorial that reflects the life and faith of the beloved who has passed on.
Nick and Ellen have been blessed with 34 years of marriage, 5 children, 4 grandchildren.
